Sending eBooks to Kindle

How to Send Your eBook to Kindle
Welcome! If you’ve downloaded a book from Booklyn.xyz and would like to read it on your Kindle, you’re in the right place.

We’ll walk through it step by step.

Before we begin, please make sure you have:

• Downloaded the ZIP file
• Unzipped (extracted) the file
• Located the EPUB version of the book

Kindle works best with the EPUB file.

First: Unzip Your Download
Your book arrives in a ZIP file, which is simply a folder that needs to be opened.

On Windows
Right-click the ZIP file and select “Extract All.”

On Mac
Double-click the ZIP file.

On iPhone or iPad
Open the Files app and tap the ZIP file.

On Android
Tap the ZIP file and choose Extract.

Once unzipped, you’ll see two files:
• EPUB (best for Kindle)
• PDF (best for computers or printing)

Choose the EPUB file for your Kindle.

The Easiest Way: Send to Kindle Website
This is the simplest method for most readers.

Visit:
https://www.amazon.com/sendtokindle
Sign in to your Amazon account.
Drag and drop the EPUB file.
Select your Kindle device.
Click Send.
Make sure your Kindle is connected to Wi-Fi. Your book should appear in your library within a few minutes.

Alternative Method: Send by Email
Every Kindle has its own email address.

Find Your Kindle Email Address
Log into Amazon.
Go to Account → Manage Content & Devices.
Click the Devices tab.
Select your Kindle.
You’ll see your Kindle email address listed.
It will look something like:
yourname_123@kindle.com

Approve Your Email
Before sending, make sure your regular email address is approved.

In Manage Content & Devices, click Preferences.
Scroll to Approved Personal Document Email List.
Add your email address if it isn’t already there.
Send the Book
Attach the EPUB file to an email and send it to your Kindle email address.

Turn on Wi-Fi on your Kindle, and it should arrive shortly.

Old-School Reliable: USB Transfer
If you prefer cables to clouds:

Connect your Kindle to your computer with a USB cable.
Open the Kindle folder that appears.
Open the Documents folder.
Drag the EPUB file into that folder.
Safely eject your Kindle.
The book will appear in your library.

A Gentle Reminder About File Types
For the best reading experience on Kindle, use the EPUB file.

The PDF version is ideal for reading on a computer or printing.

If Something Doesn’t Appear
If your book hasn’t shown up after 10–15 minutes:

• Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on
• Confirm you sent the EPUB file
• Double-check that your email address is approved in Amazon settings
