Issued in 1966 by the Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Postaları (Republic of Turkey Post), this two-stamp set celebrates the construction of the Keban Dam—one of the largest and most ambitious infrastructure projects in modern Turkish history.

Located on the Euphrates River in eastern Anatolia, the Keban Dam was a symbol of national progress, providing hydroelectric power, irrigation, and flood control while marking Turkey’s modernization efforts during the 1960s.
