A clean and attractive example from Denmark’s long-running “Numeral and Arms” series, issued in the late 1870s. This 3 øre bicolor stamp features a gray central oval with the denomination “3” in white, surrounded by an ornate blue frame. Printed by typography and perforated 14×13½. The stamp offered shows a neat circular cancel and strong, even color — an appealing representative of the early øre-denominated issues that defined Danish postal design for decades.
