A colorful and beautifully engraved six-stamp set issued by the Republic of Liberia in 1956 to commemorate the Fifth International Philatelic Exhibition (FIPEX) held at the New York Coliseum. Designs feature the Statue of Liberty, New York Coliseum, and the FIPEX globe emblem, symbolizing international friendship through postage.

Printed by E.A. Wright Bank Note Company, Philadelphia, these issues exhibit crisp engraving and strong color contrast. Complete mint never hinged set with full original gum.
