A clean and well-centered definitive from the 1954 Queen Elizabeth II series of the Leeward Islands, issued shortly after her accession. The design features the young Queen’s portrait in profile within an ornate frame bearing the inscriptions “Postage & Revenue.” Printed in gray and typographed by De La Rue, this stamp represents the final issue period before the dissolution of the Leeward Islands postal administration in 1956. A crisp and attractive example with full original gum.
