Issued in 1939, Ireland Scott #103–104 commemorates the 150th anniversary of the United States Constitution, reflecting Ireland’s recognition of the American constitutional tradition and its influence on modern democratic governance. Both stamps feature a bold, symbolic design centered on a heraldic eagle with outspread wings, clutching a shield reminiscent of the Great Seal of the United States.
