Description
Hungary Scott #2123–2130 (issued 1972) is a set of eight commemorative stamps featuring historic locomotives from around the world, part of Magyar Posta’s popular “Railway History” series. Designed by István Éva, each stamp vividly illustrates a different steam locomotive in brilliant color, set against stylized backdrops representing their countries of origin. The series honors both Hungarian and international engineering achievements in rail transportation.
