Hong Kong – Scott #154 (1938–48) Used, King George VI Definitive, 1¢ Brown
This 1-cent brown definitive stamp was issued between 1938 and 1948 during the reign of King George VI. The design features a finely engraved left-facing profile of the King within a rectangular frame, accented by Chinese characters for “Hong Kong” and the denomination, as well as small crown emblems in the upper corners.

Part of the first full definitive series issued under King George VI, these stamps reflect the transition into a new royal era and were in widespread postal use throughout pre-war, wartime, and early post-war Hong Kong. Many of these stamps saw heavy commercial use, making clean examples desirable.

This example is postally used, with a legible circular cancellation and strong, even color. Perforations and margins are intact, and overall presentation is solid for a used issue from this period.
