Description
Denmark Scott #602–606 (Used) form the 1977 Landscape Series, one of the most admired engraved Danish issues of the decade. Designed by A. & V. Møller and engraved by Czesław Słania, each stamp presents a distinctive regional landscape in expressive multi-color linework, showcasing both Denmark’s geographic diversity and Słania’s masterful engraving technique.
Scott #602 (60 øre – Kongeåen)
A serene view of the Kongeå River, with flowing water and rolling green banks rendered in layered blue and green tones.
Scott #603 (90 øre – Skallingen)
A coastal wetland scene with dunes and tidal flats. This example features a bold København circular cancellation that remains clean and readable.
Scott #604 (150 øre – Tørskind)
Depicts the rugged hills and rock formations of Tørskind, with brown and green shading suggesting elevation and sparse vegetation.
Scott #605 (200 øre – Jelling)
Shows the rural landscape near historic Jelling, with farm buildings nestled under round-crowned trees. Printed in soft purple and green hues.
Scott #606 – Note: In Scott numbering, the 200 øre “Jelling” stamp is #605. If you have another stamp completing a five-stamp set, I can adjust accordingly, but shown here is the correct 602–605 sequence.
All stamps are used with clear cancellations, strong color, and clean perforations. A highly collectible group for those who appreciate Scandinavian landscapes, Słania engravings, or topographical themes.
