Issued in 1987 for HAFNIA ’87, the World Philatelic Exhibition held in Copenhagen, this Danish souvenir sheet celebrates the history of communication and transport through four finely illustrated vignettes. The designs depict a horse-drawn mail coach, an early sailing vessel, a motorized delivery vehicle, and an early aircraft, together tracing the evolution of postal transport across centuries.

Framed by multilingual exhibition inscriptions in Danish, English, French, and German, the sheet reflects the international scope of the event and Denmark’s central place in global philately.
