Denmark Scott #219 (1934) is the 40 øre green value from the engraved definitive series depicting King Christian X. The design features a finely engraved profile portrait of the monarch set within an oval frame of laurel leaves, with the inscription “CHR. X REX” curving along the base of the vignette.
Traditional post horns appear in the upper corners—an enduring emblem of the Danish postal service—while large “40” numerals in the bottom corners denote the denomination.
