Description

Denmark Scott #215 (1934) is a 20 øre gray value from the engraved definitive series featuring King Christian X. The design presents a finely rendered profile portrait of the king enclosed within an oval frame of laurel leaves, with the inscription “C X REX” curved along the lower edge.

In the upper corners, the stamp displays stylized post horns, a longstanding symbol of the Danish postal service. At the bottom corners, large “20” numerals prominently show the denomination, balancing the symmetrical layout typical of Denmark’s 1930s definitive issues. The clean gray color lends the stamp a subdued but elegant appearance.

This used example shows a multi-strike circular cancellation that remains readable without obscuring the central portrait.
