Denmark Scott #166 (1927) continues the engraved series honoring King Christian IV, one of the most influential Danish monarchs of the 17th century. Like its companion value, this stamp features a finely detailed engraved portrait of Christian IV set within an ornate frame printed in green.

The design includes the commemorative dates “1624” and “1924” along the vertical borders, marking the tricentennial being recognized by the series. Crown symbols flank the top corners, while the denomination “10 ØRE 10” is displayed prominently above the portrait.

This used example shows a clean, curved cancel that leaves the central portrait unobscured.
