Denmark Scott #128, issued in 1913, is the 1 Krone brown & blue high denomination from the celebrated King Christian X engraved definitive series. As one of the key top values in the set, the 1 Krone stamp saw extensive postal use—making attractive, well-cancelled examples particularly desirable.

This stamp features a finely engraved portrait of King Christian X in profile, framed by laurel branches and bold “1 KR” denomination tablets. The deep brown frame and bright blue vignette remain strong on this example.

This stamp is used, with a bold, dated circular cancel reading 22.11.20. The postmark is heavy but still allows the portrait detail to show through—typical for high-value stamps that passed through busy urban postal centers. Perforations are complete, and the stamp has a solid overall appearance for this higher-rate issue.
