Denmark Scott #118, issued in 1913, represents the 40 Øre bright blue & blue-green value of the classic King Christian X definitive series—one of the most enduring and recognizable portrait designs in Danish philately. The stamp features an engraved right-facing profile of the king in military uniform, framed by laurel branches and bold denomination tablets in each lower corner.

This example is used, with a strong, centrally struck circular cancellation that remains readable without overpowering the design—highly desirable for collectors of early Denmark.
