Issued in 1924, this ½ piastre green definitive features the finely engraved profile of King George V, framed by ornate scrollwork beneath a royal crown. Bearing the dual inscription “POSTAGE & REVENUE,” this series was part of the second major issue under George V, following the imperial standard design used throughout the British Commonwealth.
