Andorra (Spanish) — EUROPA Issues 2p & 8p (Scott 75–76)
This attractive Spanish Andorra EUROPA pair, cataloged as Scott 75–76, showcases two iconic mid-century European designs celebrating cooperation, unity, and shared identity. Issued under the CORREOS administration, both stamps reflect the bold graphic language that defines classic EUROPA themes.
-
Scott 75 (2 pesetas) features a stylized circular motif symbolizing interconnected nations, rendered in crisp blue and red.
-
Scott 76 (8 pesetas) presents a dynamic abstract swirl design, suggesting growth, movement, and collective progress, printed in warm red tones against a pale background.
Both stamps are offered in mint never hinged (MNH) condition with full original gum, sharp perforations, and fresh color. EUROPA issues remain a perennial favorite among collectors for their artistic ambition and pan-European symbolism, and this matched set makes an excellent addition to collections focused on Andorra, EUROPA themes, or modern graphic stamp design.
