Description

Albania Scott #651, issued in 1963, commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the International Red Cross (1863–1963). The design features a portrait of Henri Dunant, the organization’s founder, positioned over a globe and centered within the unmistakable Red Cross emblem. To the right, a faint line drawing of a Red Cross worker reinforces the humanitarian mission celebrated by the issue.

Rendered in green, red, and black, the stamp reflects the crisp, modern graphic style of Albania’s socialist period.
